Geronimo
Although the Apache Indian Chief, Cochise, made peace with the United States, Geronimo and a small band of followers became renegade Indian outlaws terrorizing ranches along the Mexico/Texas border for over 14 years. Following Geronimo's capture in 1886, he was held in Fort Pickens, Florida and the in Fort Sill, Oklahoma where he died in 1909.
